The 2006 Nissan Q45 was the final model year of the third-generation flagship sedan, offered in base and Premium trims with a 340-horsepower 4.5-liter V8 and a five-speed automatic transmission. Changes for 2006 were minimal, largely limited to adjustments in standard equipment. Common service considerations include timing chain tensioner wear that can cause startup rattle, aging electrical components in the navigation and audio systems, and routine suspension wear at higher mileage. Parts availability can also be a concern since the model was discontinued after 2006.
