The 2007 Nissan Pathfinder continued with the 4.0-liter V6 and 5-speed automatic, while adding standard stability control and side curtain airbags across the lineup, with an SE Off-Road trim available. A common service concern is the automatic transmission, whose internal radiator cooler can fail and contaminate the fluid, making an external cooler a frequent recommendation. Timing chain tensioner wear, suspension component deterioration, and frame rust are also routinely inspected on higher-mileage examples.
