The Chevrolet Captiva is a compact crossover SUV produced by Chevrolet from 2006 to 2018. The first generation, built on a platform shared with the Opel Antara, was offered with five- or seven-seat layouts, while the second generation, introduced in 2016, was based on the Baojun 560 and sold mainly in select markets. The model was positioned as a practical, family-oriented vehicle, with typical strengths including a spacious interior, available third-row seating, and competitive pricing. It was eventually phased out in many markets in favor of other Chevrolet crossovers such as the Equinox and Trailblazer.
