The 1994 Nissan Sentra was the final year of the B13 generation, carrying over the 1.6L four-cylinder base engine and the 140-horsepower 2.0L SE-R with only minor trim and styling updates. Common service considerations include timely timing belt replacement, since the SR20DE engine is an interference design where belt failure can cause valve damage. Higher-mileage examples often develop oil leaks from the valve cover gasket and consume oil as they age. Rust on the rocker panels, floor pans, and undercarriage is also frequent, particularly in regions that use road salt.
