The 2004 Armada was Nissan's first full-size SUV, built on the Titan pickup's F-Alpha platform and powered by a 5.6-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. It was offered in SE, SE Off-Road, SL, and LE trims with seating for up to eight and available four-wheel drive. Common service items include the timing chain and tensioners, transmission fluid condition, suspension components, and exhaust manifolds. Rust inspection is worthwhile in regions that use road salt.
