The 2006 Nissan Armada added standard side-curtain airbags and a tire pressure monitoring system, and introduced an SE Off-Road trim with Bilstein shocks and skid plates. It continued with a 5.6-liter V8 producing 305 horsepower paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Common service concerns include automatic transmission wear, particularly with towing, and radiator failures that can contaminate transmission fluid through the integrated cooler. Suspension components such as ball joints and control arms, along with exhaust manifolds, are also frequent inspection items at higher mileage.
